Jesse “Bruce” Crawford Jr, 75, of Jackson, Ga went home to heaven on May 28, 2023.

Bruce was born in Atlanta, Ga to JB and Mary Elizabeth Crawford. He was a faithful member of Jackson First Baptist Church. Bruce served in the US Navy and was stationed in Scotland for the majority of his service. He had lived in Butts County for 52 years. He worked for many years as a forklift mechanic and loved all things mechanical. He enjoyed science fiction, reading, cruising, spending time with family and was a big fan of Donald Duck and Uncle Scrooge McDuck. He had quite a collection of Donald memorabilia and his family would bring him additions to his collection whenever they traveled.

Those left to cherish his memories are, his wife of 54+ years, Patricia; son, Alex, and daughter in love Jennifer of Canton, Ga; daughter Jennifer Diamond(Manny) of Seattle, WA; grandchildren’s Heatherm, Serena, Grace and Joseph; Brother Dennis (Shelia) of Williamsburg, VA; brothers and sisters in love; cherished friends Mike and Donna Owens; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial to celebrate his life will be held at Jackson First Baptist Church on June 17, 2023 at 11 AM with visitation 1 hour prior to the service.
