She is preceded in death by her parents: Jessie Taylor Sr. and Mattie J Higgins Taylor, Ex-Spouse Andrew Burney Sr., her siblings: Robert Taylor, Jessie Taylor Jr, Mary Alma Jean Taylor Ricks, Darnell Bonner and Cherry Taylor.

She leaves to celebrate her legacy her kids: Holly, Heather, Daphne, Andrew, Andre Burney. Brothers: Alan (Harriet)Taylor, Gary (Shirley)Taylor, Kinsey (Lillie)Taylor, Sisters: Vernis (Alicia)Bond, Linda (Ronald)Thomas, Uncle: Tommie Higgins, Auntie: Princess Barbra F. Scott. Her final moments where spent surrounded by her children, brothers and sisters.

Gail Burney was known for her smile and caring spirit. She uplifted many others with her loving embrace and humble heart. Her kind spirt will be greatly missed by all that knew her. She had a passion for art and writing poems. She attended Mercer University where she studied Art. She enjoyed life as the way she knew it and it was displayed though her poems which was her greatest passion. She was employed at Goodwill Nursing Home where she began her work helping others. She leaves behind a host of relatives and close friends.

The family will receive family and friends at 4702 Brookhaven Rd. Macon, GA.
